About
Dr. Yusra Jamal is an endocrinologist with White Plains Hospital Physician Associates board certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism and Internal Medicine. She provides comprehensive care for a wide range of endocrine conditions, including diabetes; thyroid, pituitary and adrenal disorders; osteoporosis and reproductive hormone conditions.
Before joining White Plains Hospital Physician Associates, Dr. Jamal was an endocrinologist with Northwell Health Physician Partners and at Long Island Jewish Forest Hills Hospital. She also served on the Hospital's Diabetes Committee, helping lead quality improvement initiatives focused on the management of diabetes and hypoglycemia in hospitalized patients.
Dr. Jamal earned her medical degree from Dow University of Health Sciences – Sindh Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Long Island Jewish Forest Hills Hospital, where she served as Associate Chief Resident, followed by a fellowship in Endocrinology & Metabolism at Westchester Medical Center, where she served as Chief Fellow.
