About
Dr. Erden Goljo is a cardiac electrophysiologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders, including atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia, ventricular arrhythmias, and syncope.
Dr. Goljo was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina and grew up on Long Island, NY. After earning his medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Dr. Goljo completed his residency in internal medicine at Yale New Haven Medical Center. He then completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Stony Brook University Hospital on Long Island, where he served as chief fellow, followed by advanced fellowship training in cardiac electrophysiology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
Prior to joining White Plains Hospital, Dr. Goljo served as a cardiac electrophysiologist and Assistant Professor of Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and presented his research at national cardiology and electrophysiology conferences. His scholarly work has appeared in leading cardiovascular journals, including JACC: Cardiovascular Interventions, JACC: Heart Failure, JACC Case Reports, and HeartRhythm Case Reports.
